I haven't read any other reactions yet, so I have no idea what fandom thinks of latest "developments".

I'm not at all surprised by Dean's reaction to Sam drinking demon blood. The way Sam changed, especially this season? It was clear from the beginning, that Dean didn't take it too well. Something was bound to snap.
I know that there are people, who complain about the rift between the guys. People that say "they're brothers, it shouldn't happen, the show is about two brothers fighting together, not with each other". I don't agree. What is happening between Sam and Dean now, actually makes the show even more interesting. Especially because they're brothers and because of what they've been through. Because the answer to "does end justify the means" is extremely difficult in their situation.

Oh - and I liked human!Castiel aka Jimmy. I'm glad we got a bit of his backstory.

This last month I've watched most of the show and having season 1 sensitive!Sam still fresh in my memory makes me love the rift even more. I'm just dreading the inevitable cliffhanger of doom.
And Dean dreams of fishing - he's like Jack O’Neill:) How awesome is that?!

O'Neill! Yes! That was exactly my first thought =)

And after last year I think I can take pretty much any cliffhanger they decide to throw at us. I'm just happy we'll get another season.
