Art Bingo - "Ice Rain"
Dec. 28th, 2008 10:41 pmMy last prompt for
art_bingo Winter Challenge.
I admit, this is very, very loose interpretation. And has more to do with winter in poor John's heart, than an actual season. I wonder if it can even count... *sighs* I still have few days to come up with something else, I guess.
Anyway, here it is:
( Not a happy ending... )

Art Bingo - "Jack Frost"
Dec. 7th, 2008 10:35 amIt gave me a bit of a trouble, this one. And not because of my struggles with Photoshop.
Thanks again for your help, flist!

Two more prompts for Art Bingo done!
Nov. 12th, 2008 07:00 pmThis challenge is even more difficult than I thought. Not because I can't come up with any ideas (although that's not too easy, either).
But I'm not too good at doing manips, so it's like two challenges in one.
This is for "Skiing":
( Let the best man win! )
And this one is for "Wet":
( No,it's not what you think... )
I kind of hate Photoshop right now. It'll pass... =)

"The Shrine" - 2
Aug. 23rd, 2008 11:22 amSo, I did cry for like half of the episode.
( And I really was scared )
David's acting was exceptional. Not something we get to see often in SGA, because the writers did make his character sort of one dimensional, when it comes to expressing the emotions. It was great reminder of his acting skills.
And all the McShepiness aside, it was yet again proved that the chemistry between Joe and David is really amazing. I'm going to miss it. A lot. I can only hope that they will have a chance to make a movie or a tv show together.

Little SGA rambling
Aug. 16th, 2008 02:25 pmI really liked "Ghost in the Machine". I also very much liked "The Daedalus Variations".
And that's making me happy - two good eps in a row. Solid sci-fi. Just like we used to have in the first two seasons. Later - not so much.
The show's been deteriorating, for at least last 1,5 seasons. Which makes me really sad, 'cos I'm still considering SGA my main fandom.
I don't feel like re-watching most of the episodes after "Allies". Sure, there are few, that I loved, but overall, I couldn't name most of them, or remember the plot :(
I don't have any hope, that those last two eps mean the show is back on right track. If I'm wrong, then of course I'll be more than happy to admit it. But I'd rather stay a pessimist and be pleasantly surprised. If.
Oh, and in the scene?...

John is so checking Rodney's ass!
*snickers*

14 x John Sheppard
5 x McShep
7 x Joe Flanigan in other roles
I'm sore like hell and despite the painkillers I couldn't sleep last night. This is the result...
I'm pretty anal about proper warnings for the fics. You know: death, rape/non-con, specific kink. And "unrequited".
I've just spent few hours, reading through 120+ pages, only to find out that at the end it's still "only one wants". To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement.
The thing is - it was really good stuff. Well written, good plot, lots of Rodney-whump and Sheppard comforting, great team moments.
But I was in the mood for some happy-ending fics (McShepy way happy ending). Any other day, when I'm in proper mood and if I knew what to expect, I'd be happy to read it and able to appreciate it properly. Today, I shrugged it off as a waste of time...
And now it's too late and my eyes are too tired to read anything else.
