On the side note - my back is killing me today. But not in the usual "I just spent 48 hours in front of the computer" way. More like "I slept on a cold, stone floor" way. Which I didn't. Sleep, that is. I hope hot bath will help,'cos this pain is really starting to piss me off.

Apr. 20th, 2009 06:29 pmComing back to work, after almost two weeks of free time - not funny. I'm completely exhausted and still a bit in shock. Mostly because I had to (yet again!) move to a different room. I so wasn't prepared for this today. I has wearing high heels, dammit. Not to mention clothes more suitable for a conference, than physical work. I was dreaming of shower after only couple of hours.
But I'm actually happy that I'll now be ina different place. I'm leaving behind the craziness that is our customer support room. I'll be sharing a place with our production administrator, a gut I like and get along really well.
It's the only good change that happened recently.
Ok, enough blabbering and on to the pictures:

IMDB says we'll get another "Dune" movie next year. There aren't any details yet, so it may still be dropped. But if they go with it, I hope like hell they'll finally make it right.
"Dune" was really not lucky so far. Lynch's version was not bad, all things considered, up until the last few minutes. When they screwed up everything. Because, seriously - rain?... Makes me go "WTF???" every time I'm watching it.
The SciFi version?... I don't even have the words. It was more than bad. It was hideous. Staring with acting and ending with the costumes. *shudders* Let's forget it even exists.
This is really amazing book (the whole Dune-verse is) and one of my all-time favorites. I want someone to finally do it's justice. I mean, it's not more difficult that "LOTR" and I happen to think that Peter Jackson did really good job.
I'm a pessimist, so I'll always expect the worse. But I'm really tired of cringing, while watching movies based on the books I love.
In the frenzy of spring cleaning, I just throw away 3/4 of my clothes. They were either really old and used or didn't fit me anymore (and I gave up waiting for the day they will once again).
My closet looks depressingly empty.
And what I will wear now? I should probably mention that I really hate shopping for clothes.

My Kaspersky died on me this morning. Out of the blue, I wasn't even downloading anything, just browsing my usual sites.
And I couldn't restart the damn thing.

I get totally paranoid when my anti virus is not working. Up to the point where I'm unplugging my modem, so it makes looking for help much more difficult. I guess I'll spend most of my time at work browsing net for any clues what could happen and what to do.

It's just not happening.
I've been trying for the past six days, and I didn't make even one decent icon. It's all total crap.
Screw this. I'm going to watch some Supernatural. I'm in the mood for a bit of Dean
