Seriously, wtf?

One of my userpics has suddenly became something completely different.

I had this cool Rodney "hand porn" icon, made by victoriaely and now in its place I have some kid with a koala???

How the hell this could happen? I never even saved this icon. No idea who made it. And I'm not hotlinking!

This has happened to a lot of people lately - including me!

The advice is to clear your chache (I think)... see here about the third paragraph down:

It looks ok now and I didn't go anything. I wonder it if just my comp at work that freaks out. I'll have to check again tomorrow I guess. But thanks for the link.

It also happened top one of my students that I got blogging on LJ. There was no rhyme or reason for it but eventually it righted itself.

At home everything went back to normal. Bizarre, really.

That's happened to me several times. I don't know why it happens, but I usually just delete it and upload it again.

Strange thing is, it's happening only with my comp at work.
And clearing cache didn't help. But at home, it shows the right icon...

That's weird. LJ changes the file names after you upload the icons, so I just assumed it was their glitch and somehow the wrong file got associated with that file name. Hmmm... I really have no clue, but deleting it and uploading it again has always worked to fix it for me. This has happened to me several times since I've been on LJ, which I think is about 3 years or so.
