Someone kill me, please

Three weeks ago, I was dying because of an abscess on my gum. An experience I don't wish to anyone, unless you like climbing up the walls because of pain.

Now I've caught an inner ear infection, and quite a bad case, too. I'm on antibiotics again, deaf on my right ear, and it's painful like hell. Luckily, this time the doctor didn't have to cut through anything, and if the drugs work, he won't have to. But I'm miserable and have to stay home , with all windows closed, to avoid any draughts. And it's over 30 degrees outside...

I think I'll go now and cry myself to sleep.

I really feel for you as I spent almost two weeks in horrendous pain from an infected tooth. Hope the infections clear up soon.

I'm feeling a bit better, but I hoped the drugs will be more effective (they are supposed to be pretty strong). I hate being sick :(

That's the problem, I think - I somehow neglected myself in last months and I'm forgetting, I'm not getting any younger :( It's getting better, bo so slowly, it's still barely noticeable :(

I hope "Utopia" will cheer me up a bit :)

I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie. I know those can be beyond a real pain. I am kind of in the same spot. I've apparently had walking pneumonia for over 4 months and didn't realize it until the full-blown pneumonia kicked in.

I already did a hospital stay with no good results. If anything I got worse since I hate being there. So I came home and have a friend looking after me while I'm sick. No fun but I definitely don't want to go outside here. It's in the high 90s and miserable.

My, this sounds really serious :(

I did my share of hospital time when I was a kid and I remember that it' no fun at all.
I tend to brush off most of my illnesses and I think I should stop doing this. I'm not getting any younger and it now takes lot more time to get better.

The drugs are kicking, but so slowly, that though I feel a bit better, it's still barely noticeable :(
