Nice person at SGA H/C list posted some excerpts from latest Stargate magazine, and they made me angry all over, again.

Stargate used to be shows about bunch of people, who travel across galaxy (-ies), meeting new friends, making new enemies, discovering amazing alien technology and learning more about themselves, as a bonus.
Now, apparently, it became "Save Sam Carter" or "Super!Sam Rulez!" show.
I was never a big fan of Elizabeth Weir, but I can say I liked her enough. Maybe she wasn't blazing star, but she wasn't doing any harm. But in season 4, there's no place for her (even as a recurring character), and apparently because for Sam Carter "it was time to get her own command" (whatever this means). I'm not even gonna mention Carson...
Why the fuck, is TPTB so in love with her?? I seriously think, any surveys they do about what others think about the changes, is among themselves.

With the risk of sounding overly dramatic and too pessimistic - if it keeps going in this direction, it looks like the beginning of the end.
With all the respect to Amanda Tapping (because it has nothing to do with her as a person or an actress) - maybe she can get pregnant again? *hopes*

Plus - I'm in serious SGA withdrawal. Even fics don't help.
