Not so long ago, the only things I watched, were Stargate (on my computer) and occasional re-runs of all-time classics (sci-fi and not), on my tv.
Now, the list looks like this:

1.SGA and SG-1
2. Supernatural
3. Doctor Who
4. BSG
5. CSI - all three series
6. Prison Break
7. 4400
8. Smallville...

In a few days there will be 9, because I've just got first few episodes of "Torchwood" (thanks again, M *g*).

Christ...

Granted, not all of above will be renewed for next season, but still.
I'm actually happy, that "Heroes" didn't work for me. And that I might let go of "Prison Break", because it gets a little boring.

But I am terrified.
And addicted, apparently.

Help.

*hugs*

You're very welcome. Both sets of links are now complete so you can take your pick of which works best for you :)

And... you didn't like Heroes? Wow. Why?

And... you didn't like Heroes? Wow. Why?

I watched the pilot... And I watched, and watched, and watched, and watched... Went to make coffee... Watched some more... And still I was only half way through. I got bored.
I don't know what exactly didn't work for me. Maybe it was the fact, that I felt like watching X-men, only with different faces (although I love the movies) and it was like someone copied and didn't mention where the characters originated. I don't know. I didn't feel like I wan to know more about any of the characters.

But I forgot to add "Eureka" to the list. And there will be next season. *g*

Aaw, you should've watchd more than the pilot! I know I sort of thought of X-men when i watched the first one, but didn't think of it after that because it really is that good :)

It's probably this "first impression" thing, and it's hard to change it (especially if it's wrong impression *g*).

I used to be the same way. For the longest time it was Stargate and nothing else. Then I got the Stargate original movie and discovered that James Spader was cuter than I remembered from when I'd first seen it and then I realized he was in Boston Legal. Somehow I started watching Supernatural, and that has spawned Gilmore Girls and Smallville. Then I realized that the guy from Gilmore Girls was on Heroes so I started watching that. *g*

I'm actually happy, that "Heroes" didn't work for me.

Really? I'm so glad to hear that. I've only watched four episodes so far and I'm really not liking it yet. I want to give it a fair chance, but it's not really doing much for me. As if I need another show to watch anyway. *g*

You're better than me - I didn't even go through the pilot. *g*
And since I've got so many other things to watch, I didn't really push it.

As per other stuff - most of it did "originated" in Stargate or through Stargate related people, so, yeah, it's pretty much fault of this two shows *g*
