I'm way too lazy to keep them. Better take it one day at a time and see how it goes.

What I have to do in the next few days however, is to finish my card for Winter Challenge at art_bingo . My last prompt is "Ice Rain" and I still have only a vague idea what to make of it. And the deadline is the end of the year...

Then I should put more time into making icons for my scifi100 Cameron Mitchell challenge. I got only 18 so far and I'm not really happy with most of them. It's all Merlin's fault, of course (and the obsession is still strong *g*).

Speaking of Cameron: burningchaos wrote cute McMitchell ficlet, with totally awesome Daniel on the side. If you're Rodney/Cameron fan, you should definitely read it =) If you're not, go read it anyway. You'll see those two would be fantastic together!

Btw, I realized recently, that I read very little books this year. Highly unusual for me, but I blame all those great fandom writers =)
It's time I should catch up on the published stuff, though. I have a feeling I might have missed few really good books.
On that note, I decided it's time I finally order one more bookshelf, because I'm almost out of space.



The additional shelf will go where the arrows are, obviously. And I have no idea why I didn't make it for the whole wall from the start...

And now I'm going to make myself a cup of coffee, eat the rest of Christmas cake and read for a while :)

I've run out of book/DVD space too :( Problem is, there's no room for another book shelf anywhere! I might have to do my own version of a Wraith culling - on my books/DVDs *sigh*

I did the "great purge" few years ago. Didn't help much and I'm very reluctant to part with my books :)

Yeah! I have the same problem - last time I did a major culling, I spent the next ten years buying back some of the items I got rid of!

I love your book wall! It looks so organized! I did the same with my furniture and ended up buying another matching bookcase to go the whole length of the wall! LOL!

This is actually made-to-order bookshelf, because I wanted it to be the whole height of the wall. And they don't do it as standard. And I really don't know why I didn't made for the whole wall, since that was my plan anyway :)
And yes, I like my books organized. This way I know where to look,when I'm in the mood for something specific :)

It's weird, almost all my friends are getting new bookshelves. Including me :) I tried to figure out names of your books, but I think I'm not good enough :) I recognise only few of them ;)

Hm, maybe. But some of them have been re-printed with different covers then 20 years ago. Or - like Nowa Fantastyka series - all look pretty much the same from the distance. And and what then? =)
