And here I thought my problems with computer has ended...

My Kaspersky died on me this morning. Out of the blue, I wasn't even downloading anything, just browsing my usual sites.
And I couldn't restart the damn thing.

*headdesk*

I get totally paranoid when my anti virus is not working. Up to the point where I'm unplugging my modem, so it makes looking for help much more difficult. I guess I'll spend most of my time at work browsing net for any clues what could happen and what to do.

*repeats headdesk*

Anyone using this program? Did something like this happen to you?

I don't use kaspersky.... but if you are careful you can browse without antivirus..... I mean not clicking at unknown links/sites....

Well, maybe good ol“Kasper saved your PC by sacrifiezing himself!
The conficker was activated yesterday!

See here:
http://www.microsoft.com/protect/computer/viruses/worms/conficker.mspx
The virus called Conficker is a trojan, destroying files anf collecting data. The bloke whio designed it had it hidden under various open sides - like lycos! - and who got it, is screwed. It was suppose to be activated on April the 1st...
So maybe this ic the case?

Just suggesting!
Greetings.

Download and install AVAST - if you're on PC rather than MAC (avast.com)
It's FREE for home users.
