I've been re-watching fourth season of Supernatural. And today I got to "Yellow Fever"...

This is one of the best episodes of any of my shows. I mean it.

My fangirly crush aside, Jensen is really damn good actor. How I want to see him in something else, something different... *sighs* I can only hope his name won't end up in a "box" with a "horror actor" label on it.

You should watch S2 of Dark Angel, if you haven't already. He's in it, and he shows a range of emoitons, and it's more sci-fi than horror, so. You could also give his season of Smallville a shot, although I haven't watched that one, so I can't really tell you anything about it.

You're right, though. I don't want to see him pegged as a horror actor for the rest of his career, either.

I've watched Smallville and Dark Angel (I agree about the latter). And everything else Jensen related I could find =)
I will probably watch any show or movie he's in, but I don't want to cringe doing it. Happened way too often with other actors I like.

As far as I can tell, it's gonna be a horror too...

But I believe that he has still a lot of time to find a good role for himself. Really.

Re new Doctor, as I wrote one post up - I'll wait and see. I have no idea who the guy is, so I know nothing about his acting skills. Sure, it wouldn't hurt if he was a bit older, but as long as he can be believable Doctor (which brings us back to the quality of his acting), I'm ok with it.
