I'm allergic to stupidity.
it's not about me expecting that people won't make mistakes. God knows I'm doing my share of those.

But stupidity? Pure and simple and for which there is no explanation? This is something that makes me furious. Especially when it's repetitive.

I am so very angry right now...

I have to agree with you on that point. What really ticks me off when I mention this to someone who should understand my frustration, I'm told that I appear to be lording my intellect over said offending person or I sound a bit egotistical. How in the world can I be exhibiting selfish egotism and displaying my intellect over someone that is just plain ridiculous? I'm not talking down to said idiot, I'm just losing my temper at the same stupid mistakes over and over when he even wrote down the damn instructions! And that was after he asked me the same question at least 10 times!

It looks like you're working with the clones of people I have to deal with.
I'm often told that expect too much. How can it be too much, when all I want is them to do their jobs? And in a way that I won't have to constantly correct the same mistakes?

Exactly. Said idiot was brought on to give me some relief in my workload but he makes so many mistakes that I have to correct, that I end up doing more work than if he was never hired. Might as well get rid of him and give me a raise to do both jobs again.
