X-Files: I want to forget
I haven't been so bored watching a movie for quite some time now.
What a complete waste of time and money...
Cheaters.

=)
The truth is, I'm not paying any attention to the names. And I don't always agree with the reviews. But sometimes I do and in this case... Let's just say I'd love to see the musical. I've seen bits of it and for that reason I'm not sure the movie will be able to stand ts ground (so to speak).
But I'm not saying no.

I wanna see the musical too, and to be honest, I think movie can't be better, but maybe that's a thing - you should watch it first to enjoy it and then see it on stage and be really amazed :)
And yes, I have this problem with constantly trying to make people do thigs the don't wanna do :)

As I said, I'm not paying attention to names, but I understand he can be irritating, if he has such approach.
I usually prefer to know the original first. I always read the book before seeing a movie. Although in this case, I don't have much chance to visit West End any time soon =)
And don't worry about trying to make me do something. I'm pretty resistant and any pushing =)

Well, I had this rule too, about knowing the original first, but started to break it and it became my habit :) F.e. when I can't convince myself to read some book, I think maybe when I see the movie it will make me read it. And often it turns out that not reading a book was actually a good choice (I did this with Doctor, oh shit, Żywago, can't write it in English :D, and after watching the movie I didn't want to read it anymore :)). Sometimes story needs time to get better but sometimes it's just boring as a whole...
P.S. Maybe you should try to search the Internet to find some recordings of the stage version?

I don't think the musical was officially recorded. And after one experience with an "unofficial" taping, I'd say it would be terrible to watch...

Still I must admit, in most cases it's not worth trying :) But miracles can happen :)
