Yep! That's exactly how I felt about the whole episode - and Carter in particular! Great to know she has such faith in him that she'd malign him to a colleague without even knowing what happened to Atlantis! Certainly doesn't bode well in MY books!

Also...I would have thought that Rodney would be second-in-command because he is the next in the Civilian leadership line. The only possible reason for making John second-in-command is to make it an easy IN for Carter to take over :-(
